ActivePrez is a useful and interesting piece of software that aims to improve your PowerPoint presentations by making them a lot more interactive with the help of menu bars. With PowerPoint 2007 you can print your document, but, if you want to add printed matter to your document you will need to know how to add text to an existing slide. You can take your original slide and print it in many different sizes, you can change the size of the print (inch, centimeter, centimeters to inches), change the layout of the slide (You can add additional pieces of paper, change the orientation, change the direction of text (landscape, portrait, or another orientation), or change the background to see a different color, etc.) To add your own print to your document, follow these steps: 1. Find the printable slide that you would like to add to your document. 2. Select the slide, then click on the Insert tab at the top of the page. 3. Click the Text button 4. On the next screen, click on the font that you want to use in the text of your slide. 5. You can either type the text in here, or, if you know the text that you want to use, you can paste it. 6. Then, select the size of the text that you want to print. 7. You can select from a range of different options that are available, like, uppercase, lowercase, bold, italic, underline, etc. 8. To add a background color to the slide, click on the color selection box and choose a color from the background color drop down box. 9. In the next screen, you can add pieces of paper or other objects to the slide. 10. You can choose from a variety of different objects to add to the slide, like stars, hearts, circles, arrows, or lines, etc. 11. You can also add pictures to the slide. 12. You can add a person, places, countries, or even arrows pointing in the direction of where you want to go. 13. If you are done adding the text, places, or pictures, you can click on the Preview button to make sure that the slide looks exactly like you want it. 14. Overall, the addin is really simple to use and the menu navigation is super fast. So for me at least, I'm glad that I downloaded this addin. Conclusion If you are looking for a way to keep your PowerPoint presentations active and alive, without overdoing it with too many buttons and menus in the slide area, ActivePrez is definitely worth a shot. I find the addin easy to navigate as it only has a few basic items in the ribbon, and with a few clicks of the mouse, I can navigate directly to my slides. In terms of flexibility, I can customize the addin to my liking and make it super personalized and tailored for my workflow. Although it can be a bit pricey, if you are looking to improve the overall presentation navigation experience in PowerPoint, I would definitely recommend the ActivePrez, especially if you have PowerPoint 2013.
